We went to West Runton beach and created some Land Art using the materials we found there –

We worked in groups, and
then looked at, and talked about, all the art that we had created.
We learnt how to:

make large scale works of art away from the classroom |
|
|
use available materials to create art - and how this changes what we create |
|
|
look at the landscape around us, and use the shapes and forms we see there to create art |
When we got back to school, we used what we had learnt to create an artwork in the school grounds using available materials.
