2004 'Open Air' Project.
Warren Primary School, Tendring Hundred, Essex.

'Open Air' was an exciting arts project that took place in Chafford Hundred and the results of which are in Warren Gorge, off Grifon Road, Chafford Hundred.   Year five pupils at Warren Primary School worked with two Essex artists, Natasha Carsberg and Robert Worley to design, make and decorate sculptures for the Gorge.

This was part of a much larger project, Open Air, that worked with primary schools in Thurrock to use arts practitioners and arts activity to help deliver different areas of the curriculum, and to encourage children, parents and teachers to rediscover Thurrock’s open spaces. Open Air  worked with Thameside Infants School, Corringham Primary School, Stanford-le-Hope Junior School and Warren Primary School on a range of projects over the spring and early summer of 2004.
