'Where we live'
Year 4, Myland Primary School, Colchester, Essex.
This workshop encouraged the young people to think about their environment, both immediate and local. By placing the 'rooms' together, they will gain an understanding of how a community works, and what part cultural diversity plays in creating a vibrant and creative environment.
Explanation of project:
The young people were each given a three sided cardboard box, and asked to create their 'dream room' inside it using the provided materials. At the end of the session, the 'rooms' were placed together to create one large building/structure - a community.
